Inspiration, these days

Seek inspiration that will keep you going and willed to rise from bed. It is nothing too grand. Look at what you have at home, particularly the free ones. It can be in your dog's illuminated eyes in your darkened bedroom. Such things that are accessible, even in subtle hints. Like that little patch of dirt on the kitchen floor that needs some mopping.

The battle is not fought on social media, but in your bedroom area. Is something keeping you from sleep? Think of the options you have downstairs that will spare you from overthinking. Climbing down is demanding even if you know all the good that’s waiting. Even with enough energy to do so, your mind will double your weight. And this is the instance where you counter your tardy conscience. Charge up your little hope, hands to the floor, and lift your butt in one heavy exhale.
Here comes the need for inspiration to move to the door then to the stairs.
A cold drink can save your day. Sitting with your family at dinner will do. But your conscious determination to get through the day will spell the fine line between good days and bad ones.
I dozed off earlier while reading on the iPad. These days I have been fond of self-help books, also about creative writing. I may not help lessen the CoVID-19 cases, but I am conditioning my mind how I can be of help for my future job. For me, filtering out what gets into my head is an important move. I take in less amount of news now. Not clicking on the ones that don’t concern me is the trick. Too much politics is messing with the pandemic. There’s also the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN in hearings. I stay away from that, particularly. Not because I don’t know where to stand, but because I want to clear my mind, and any debate would spoil my sanity.
I come to Tumblr though. On Fridays, I post about life, say being twenty, or insights about a particular book. So, I am not 100% off from social media.
